With over 14 years experience in the industry and a qualification in Pastry, Christina will guide you through the start to finish techniques used to create this flowery, dusty pink and gold leaf cake number.

What you will learn:

  • Leveling, filling, stacking and doweling a double barrel cake: 6inch round height 6inches (She ain’t going to move, anywhere!)
  • Masking your cake- (Trapping all those little cake crumbs, so you have a smooth final product)
  • Mixing colours- (How to achieve different tones of pink)
  • Applying buttercream – (Super smooth cake finish with crisp edges)
  • Working with edible gold leaf (Where to source and how to handle like a pro)
  • Wiring, taping and arranging flowers (What flowers to use and those to avoid)
