This cake workshop is for the concrete cake lovers!
Concrete cakes have been around for a little while now and they’re not going away any time soon. They are a great allrounder cake; Birthday, Christening and even Wedding cake.
Christina Blaby from @BoutiqueCakeArt shares her knowledge on the most commonly asked questions she’s received on the topic, in this in depth (hands on and in-person) workshop. How do I get a true grey (concrete) tone? and why does my grey always look purple? Are just a few topics covered.
The basics won’t be forgotten about either. Even if you are an advanced decorator this workshop is great for scrubbing up on levelling, filling and stacking cakes. Achieving a smooth finish to your cake is also a focus and this particular frosting has a second layer to achieve that two toned effect.
Just because we are all about up skilling and getting the most out of our classes. Christina also covers how to colour and pour chocolate sails and also all things to do with wiring and taping flowers safely.
